Travel Terms and Conditions

Maeil World Tour's travel terms and conditions are as follows.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the basic matters related to the travel services provided by Maeil Tourism (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and to clarify the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the customer and the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • Travel Products: Refers to travel services and related products provided by the Company.

  • Customer: Refers to an individual or group who purchases or uses the Company's travel products.

Article 3 (Effect and Changes to the Terms and Conditions)

  • These Terms and Conditions take effect upon being posted on the Company's website.

  • The Company may change these Terms and Conditions if necessary, and any changes will be notified to customers by posting them on the website.

Article 4 (Reservations and Payments)

  • Customers can reserve travel products through the Company's website or by phone.

  • When making a reservation, customers must pay the price of the travel product according to the specified payment method.

Article 5 (Cancellation and Refunds)

  • If a customer wishes to cancel a reservation, they must notify the Company in writing.

  • The refund policy for cancellations is as follows:

    • 30 days before the departure: 100% refund

    • 29 to 15 days before departure: 70% refund

    • 14 to 8 days before departure: 50% refund

    • 7 to 1 day before departure: 30% refund

    • On the day of departure or no-show: No refund

  • The cancellation and refund policy also applies to changes made after the reservation.

  • Separate cancellation policies may apply to airline tickets and special-priced products. In such cases, the customer should review the information provided in advance.

Article 6 (Interruption of Travel)

  • If the travel is interrupted due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, wars, or political instability, the Company will inform the customer of such circumstances.

  • Costs not covered by travel insurance under such circumstances shall be borne by the customer.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  • The Company is not responsible for accidents caused by the intentional or negligent actions of the customer.

  • The Company is also not liable for any personal damage or loss incurred by the customer during the trip.

Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)

  • In the event of a dispute related to these Terms and Conditions, the customer and the Company shall endeavor to resolve the issue through mutual consultation. If an agreement cannot be reached, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent court.

Article 9 (Other Matters)

  • Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions will be governed by relevant laws and general practices.

  • By purchasing the travel product, the customer is considered to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
